Edevik

EDEVIK, Estonian native horse, gelding

 Born: 14.07.2022

Colour: mouse dun

Height: ca 137cm, growing

Edevik is currently in riding training in Pärnu County, where you can also go and meet him. He carries a rider in all three gaits, and jumping training has been gradually introduced. His training has progressed smoothly. Edevik is also familiar with working on a lunge line (including double-longe work) and long-reining.

He has been well cared for since he was a foal, is a quick learner, and has a naturally brave and confident temperament. He is microchipped, trimmed regularly, vaccinated, dewormed, and has had his teeth checked.

Edevik has lived his entire life in group turnout with other horses (including while being kept as a stallion), but he is also comfortable staying in a stable. He has travelled in a trailer many times, both with another horse and on his own.

In the autumn of 2024, he participated in the Annual Stallion Show, where he received the title of Best Jumper with a score of 9. The judges believed Edevik has the potential to become a talented show jumping pony.

His sire, Tohtri Error, is a very versatile stallion with an excellent work ethic and natural jumping ability. He is friendly, quick to adapt to new situations, and learns with ease. The same can be said of Edevik's dam, Eliisa, whose strength was dressage at amateur level. His damsire, Elton, has also proven himself in show jumping, competing in courses up to 100–110 cm.

Tohtri Error stands 140 cm, and Eliisa 146 cm at the withers.

I am looking for a loving home for Edevik. He is likely to make an excellent pony sport partner for a child in the future.
